The program focuses on providing you with the experience 和 certifications you need to immediately move into a fulfilling career after graduation.

Creating a solid foundation is key to overall success, no matter your major. From your first year in the 户外康乐管理 program, you will be immersed in courses such as Outdoor 领导 和 Living Skills, 教学与促进, 工商管理. These courses will develop your knowledge in business fundamentals 和 outdoor recreation, 和 prepare you for upper level classes 和 subsequent careers.
The upper-level courses are designed to hone 和 sharpen your abilities as well as provide you with a well-rounded skill set. Some of those courses will include Risk Management, 组织行为, 和 Contemporary Issues in Outdoor Recreation.
作为你文科教育的一部分, you’ll also have the ability to further customize your learning experience with classes that spark your personal interest. You can take courses in Environmental Ethics, 荒野文学, or even 历史 of Wilderness 和 the American Mind.

Whether rock climbing at the Hidden Boulders on campus, obtaining your Leave No Trace Trainer certification, or spending your summer as an intern at a national park, you will have h和s-on 和 engaging experiences that you will remember forever.
